Reboot

I received an email last night from a blog reader, wondering if I'd given up on this space.  I haven't.  I know I keep saying that.  If I could show you the dashboard of this blog, you'd see the eleven nearly finished draft posts.  The longer I stay away, the harder it is to come back, because I keep feeling the need to make a grand entrance.   Each post stretches further than the last, and misses the mark of inspiration.  I realize how pompous this sounds, so here's a fresh start.  Today I've had no coffee due to an adrenal stress test, so this post will be as simple as I feel right now.  Welcome to the new year.  We'll meet again soon.
