And the Apron Goes to...

So this morning I made a bowl full of names for Zoe to select the winner. (Yes, I have heard of random number generators, thank you very much, but the old-fashioned way feels so much more ceremonious!)

I apologize for making you wait the whole long day to find out the winner! Poor Miles had a miserable night and sad day today with a respiratory virus. Even while writing this post I have just run off to the bedroom to nurse him back to sleep for the second time. It is heartbreaking to hear his snuffly little whimpers as he pats my cheek. Hopefully this will be our last cold of the season and we can move forward to a healthy summer.

Without further ado...

Congratulations Gretchen! Gretchen wrote:
That is an adorable apron, and I hear you on the binding. I just made the Susan Branch scalloped apron, and I thought the binding would never end! lol And, hello, from a fellow Coloradoan!
I guess, as they say, the apron doesn't fall far from the tree! HA HA! Nice to meet you, Gretchen!

Thank you all for participating in SMS's Giveaway Day! I will definitely be back next year. My only modification will be to give away more than one thing. I felt so sad having just one item to share! Everyone was so kind. Please don't be strangers; I've enjoyed the company around here! Good night! I'm off to plug some new blogs into the blogroll...

It was a gorgeous apron, and I am sure it was a fun giveaway for everyone. I was so tempted to throw my name is, but I am just blessed to live so close to you, and benefit from your sewing skills
